I cannot create keys via my PMS

Narrow down the error

If you would answer “yes” to one of the following questions, please follow the corresponding solution:

Can the key be issued, but is it rejected at the door?

In this case, it may be that the key was created with incorrect data or that the terminal settings are incorrect.

Incorrect key data:

  • Read the key using the KeyWriter and check whether the values are correct.
  • If the values are incorrect, issue the key again via your PMS. Should the values still be incorrect, please contact your PMS provider first.

Incorrect terminal data:

Does the key creation still work via the KeyWriter?
  1. If possible, restart your PMS and test the key creation again.
  2. Check whether the corresponding Dialock HMS interface service is running and restart it if necessary.
