How do I create the hardware report?

What is the purpose of the hardware report?

The hardware report contains all the basic information about how the terminals are set up in the system. This information includes the name, type and template of the terminal. For this reason, the hardware report can be used as a rudimentary backup of the terminals in order to reconstruct the terminal data in an emergency.

IMPORTANT! The hardware report does not contain any information on access authorizations for groups or the exact settings of the terminal. Therefore, the hardware report cannot be used independently to fully restore the system.

Generating the hardware report

Step 1 - Open the reports

Navigate via the menu to “Tools” > “Reports”.

Step 2 - Select report

Click on the “HWListe” (hardware list) entry in the report list.

Step 3 - Execute report

Click on “Execute” in the left-hand actions menu. The parameters of the report should now open.

Step 4 - Report parameters

Select “CSV” and click “Continue” to start generating the hardware list.
NOTE: Depending on the size of the system, it may take a few minutes until the report has been created.

Step 5 - Download

When the report has been successfully created, you can click on the latest entry in the report list to download the hardware report.
