DG1 - Room cannot be booked

The message appears if the software still has an active booking process for the room. For example, if the software was closed although the check-in window for the room was still open.

To make the room bookable again, a so-called “software checkout” for the room is sufficient. The “software checkout” does not alter anything on a transponder, it simply releases the room in the software again.

Software Checkout

Step 1

  1. If present, remove the transponder from the coding station
  2. Select “Checkout guest” (in the command bar or via menu option “Key”)

Step 2

Choose “Selection from room list”

Step 3

  1. Select “All rooms” to display the complete list of all rooms
  2. Select the relevant room in the list (even if no booking is displayed)
  3. Confirm the checkout via OK

Step 4

  1. The message “Room is not occupied/reserved!” appears.
  2. Finished!

To avoid this problem in the future, always close all windows in the hotel software before closing the software or shutting down the PC and exit the program via “Exit program”.
