General - Commissioning terminals in standalone mode (without software)
Terminals can be operated either in stand-alone mode or in combination with the Dialock software.
In the following article you will learn how to commission the terminal without software.
What you need:
- Programming key (green)
- Clearing key (red)
- User keys (cards or tokens)
Teaching the programming and clearing key
- depending on the case:
- New terminal: Insert batteries.
- Existing terminal: Perform a total reset.
- Terminal flashes white/green/blue (Requires programming key) > Present programming key to terminal.
- Terminal flashes red (Requires clearing key) > Present clearing key to terminal.
User keys can then be programmed as usual.
Programming user keys
- Present the programming key.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white for 5 seconds.
- Present the user key within 5 seconds.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up white.
Access right assigned. - Repeat steps 3 & 4 for multiple keys
Programming privileged keys
- Present the programming key.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 5x/sec.
- Present the programming key again.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 2x/sec.
- Present the user key within 5 seconds.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up white.
Access right assigned - Repeat steps 5 & 6 for multiple keys
Programming toggle keys
If a key with toggle authorization is presented to the terminal for a longer period, the door remains permanently open until the key is presented again for a longer period.
- Present the programming key.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 5x/sec.
- Present the programming key again.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 2x/sec.
- Present the programming key again.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 1x/sec.
- Present the user key within 5 seconds.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up white. Access right assigned
- Repeat steps 7 & 8 for multiple keys
Delete individual keys
- Present the clearing key.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes red for max. 5 sec.
- Present the user key within 5 seconds.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up red.
Access right has been withdrawn.
Delete all keys
- Present the clearing key.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes red for max. 5 sec.
- Present the programming key within 5 seconds.
- An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up red. Access rights for all keys have been withdrawn.
Set Open Time (only for DG2)
- Present the clearing key.
- A signal tone sounds. The LED flashes red rapidly.
- Present the clearing key again for the desired time.
A signal tone sounds every second. The LED flashes
white every second in parallel with the signal tone
(max. 30 sec.). - Remove the delete key after the desired time.
Set permanent Toggle Mode (only for DG2)
- Present the clearing key.
- A signal tone sounds. The LED flashes red rapidly.
- Present the clearing key again briefly (<1 sec).
