General - Commissioning terminals in standalone mode (without software)

Terminals can be operated either in stand-alone mode or in combination with the Dialock software.
In the following article you will learn how to commission the terminal without software.

What you need:

  1. Programming key (green)
  2. Clearing key (red)
  3. User keys (cards or tokens)

Teaching the programming and clearing key

  1. depending on the case:
    1. New terminal: Insert batteries.
    2. Existing terminal: Perform a total reset.
  2. Terminal flashes white/green/blue (Requires programming key) > Present programming key to terminal.
  3. Terminal flashes red (Requires clearing key) > Present clearing key to terminal.

User keys can then be programmed as usual.

Programming user keys

  1. Present the programming key.
  2. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white for 5 seconds.
  3. Present the user key within 5 seconds.
  4. An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up white.
    Access right assigned.
  5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for multiple keys

Programming privileged keys

 

  1. Present the programming key.
  2. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 5x/sec.
  3. Present the programming key again.
  4. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 2x/sec.
  5. Present the user key within 5 seconds.
  6. An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up white.
    Access right assigned
  7. Repeat steps 5 & 6 for multiple keys

Programming toggle keys

If a key with toggle authorization is presented to the terminal for a longer period, the door remains permanently open until the key is presented again for a longer period.

  1. Present the programming key.
  2. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 5x/sec.
  3. Present the programming key again.
  4. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 2x/sec.
  5. Present the programming key again.
  6. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes white 1x/sec.
  7. Present the user key within 5 seconds.
  8. An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up white. Access right assigned
  9. Repeat steps 7 & 8 for multiple keys

Delete individual keys 

  1. Present the clearing key.
  2. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes red for max. 5 sec.
  3. Present the user key within 5 seconds.
  4. An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up red.
    Access right has been withdrawn.

Delete all keys

 

  1. Present the clearing key.
  2. An acoustic signal is heard. LED flashes red for max. 5 sec.
  3. Present the programming key within 5 seconds.
  4. An acoustic signal is heard. LED lights up red. Access rights for all keys have been withdrawn.
