DG1 - Error 4103

Error 4103 is a hardware initialization error and occurs when communication between the encoding station and the software is disrupted. It is an error that can occur in all versions of the HMS.

ES100 / Pyramid (Dialock 1):

The ES100 / Pyramid access a COM port on the PC directly. If the communication is disrupted:

  1. Disconnect the encoding station from the power supply.
  2. Reconnect the encoding station and wait until it has started.
  3. Restart the software which you use to encode the cards.

IMPORTANT! 
Two different applications cannot access the encoding station at the same time. Therefore, only ever start one software for encoding the cards.
