DG1 - Error 4103

Error 4103 is a hardware initialization error and occurs when communication between the encoding station and the software is disrupted. It is an error that can occur in all versions of the HMS.

ES100 / Pyramid (Dialock 1):

The ES100 / Pyramid access a COM port on the PC directly. If the communication is disrupted, the first step is to disconnect the encoding station from the power supply and reconnect it.
Then restart the software which you use to encode the cards.

IMPORTANT! Two different applications cannot access the encoding station at the same time. Therefore, only ever start one software for encoding the cards.

If the encoding still does not work, press Windows + R and enter “devmgmt.msc” in the window.

Make sure that the Dialock encoder appears in the list under “Ports (COM & LPT)”.

IMPORTANT! If a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark is displayed on the device symbol, a driver may be required for the encoder. In this case, please contact our support team or follow the instructions under:
